Daniel Turner performs as The Infinite Calling, an ambient guitar and live-looping project rooted in immersive, evolving soundscapes. Since its emergence in 2012, the project has explored the intersection of atmosphere, repetition, and improvisation—building layered sonic environments through delay, looping, and expansive reverb.
Over time, Turner’s creative voice has expanded beyond ambient foundations, incorporating elements of electronic, rock, blues, acoustic, and metal into a broader, more dynamic musical language. His work remains centered on transformation—where simple phrases grow, dissolve, and re-emerge as living, breathing structures of sound.
For Turner, music is not a side pursuit but a way of life—an outward expression of an inner, spiritual landscape. Each performance becomes an unfolding experience, inviting listeners into a space of reflection, movement, and resonance.
In recent years, Turner has focused on his work with Three Rivers Burn—a progressive, post-rock trio that moves fluidly between math-driven precision, ambient atmosphere, and heavy, art-forward intensity. The project blends elements of post-modern composition, metal, and cinematic texture, creating a dynamic counterpoint to the meditative nature of The Infinite Calling. That evolution has sharpened Turner’s rhythmic instincts, structural awareness, and sonic depth, all of which now feed directly back into his solo work.
A new cycle begins in 2026, with upcoming music and visual releases that expand the project’s atmospheric roots into more rhythmic, cinematic territory. Building on a catalog of nine albums, The Infinite Calling continues to evolve as both a sonic and visual journey.
